TOP PROSTOP CONS
Excellent “risk versus reward” gameplay which blends perfectly RPG and turn based strategy elements that will keep you glued in front of your screen for hours on end.Forgettable and uninteresting story that apart from a few cutscenes, is mainly told via dialogue boxes.
Very nice sound effects espescially when trading blows with your enemies.Punishingly difficult where one single mistake can ruin an entire run, and in this game each run clocks in around 2 – 3 hours (for experienced players).
A hefty amount of unlockable characters, each one with his/ her own unique abilities and style of play.Graphics outside combat sequences could use a lot of improvement.
Procedurally generated enemies and environments that make each run feel unique and unpredictable.Soundtrack is generally nice but gets boring eventually.
VERDICT An exciting roguelike game that, if you look past its steep learning curve and uninteresting story, will offer you tons of excitement and replayability.
